    Some of the pet rocks got loose and became feral. Those are the ones that crawl under your sleeping bag and snuggle into your back while you are camping.

    They already have. Rice has a more complex dna than humans. Rice developed humans to plant, harvest, and have rice festivals to worship it. Rice rewards its servants with food, beer and sake.
