Don’t know why they are holding the current GM president’s feet to the fire. It was her predecessor who did the dirty on this one. Let’s see the person who obfuscated called to pay for the lack of ethics.

Economic theory says bankruptcy doesn’t matter, or that it’s a GOOD THING: management of the Means of Production is transferred from incompetent hands to competent ones.

Look at Pittsburgh. With the new management, all the steel mills are museums so the air is clean and the traffic is no longer congested. Once over-crowded bridges are now empty.

If only Obama hadn’t interfered in Detroit, it might now be an agrarian paradise, occupied by just a few happy farmers growing cereal grains where the auto manufacturers used to be.

Oh yea, corporate greed is definitely Obama’s fault.

But you know, Obama saved the Unions! Ten billion loss. Stocks over inflated. And Detroit is now running on magic green jobs like the Volt.

Looks to me like a 3 year failure plan. But you go and count them magic union green jobs, you go and move to, live in, Detroit, I will pass. I am not going to take that bet! and that is all it is, a bad bet on tax payer money.

    I foresee a VERY large wrist-slap in GM’s distant future……..

Accountability is like the weather: everyone talks about it but nobody does anything about it.

???? “better option” ?? /not bail out Unions and lose tax payer money on failed stock options? Better idea then the Volt?

yet car companies went bankrupt, and some did not, but only GM short changed us when we sold back the inflated stock. They are redoing the Volt and the Unions are still a drag on productivity. Detroit might get new jobs, but as I said I am not willing to bet on it! That means I am sure most will not bet on that stock and the product has already shown to be a failure, will it still be? they are promising to make more of a car that they sat they have have “fixed” and plan on charging less on the retail level. All that is to me is one big red flag of failure for the next 3 years. But you go right ahead and tout a 3 year flawed green job plan as an Obama success, see you in 3 years when, as I predict, it will be yet another money hole!

13 dead. They were aware of it as early as 2002 and verified it in 2004 but sat on it. People’s lives were not even worth 57 cents.

No Unions have ever been bailed out, just corporations.

How long has the government known about this? Did they know prior to the 2012 election?
