    The list of Republicans spinning their positions would be funny, if not so tragic for the nation. Their only consistency is whatever Obama wants, they’re against.

    Another outstanding display of misdirection there trout. Wanna catch up with the toon and put the blame solely on your amateur? If it weren’t serious, it would be funny how inept he is.

    The Ed Show last night was so funny I would have fallen out of my chair laughing if not for an 11 pound cat holding me down.
    He says "Let’s get to work, " and then does just that.

    The entire Republican leadership promised to do everything they can to support the War, and many Tea Party Republicans say that, while they’re against Obama on everything else, War is ALWAYS a good idea, one they have to support.

    There are some extreme anti-Obama Tea Party types who will hold their noses and clench their teeth and vote against War, that greatest of US accomplishments and glory, just to spite Obama, and some left-wingnut Democrats who will hold their noses and clench their teeth and vote against Obama because they hate war so much, but it will be a close vote. If it ever comes to a vote.

    @Debt Free

    " it’s a civil war and they haven’t attacked any other countries."
    This may be true, 58, but Hezbollah, Al Qaeda, Saudi Arabia, the Muslim Brotherhood, Iran, and who knows who else all have their little enclaves and little regions they control. I’d say that Syria has been invaded. If Assad falls, I wouldn’t want to guess who would wind up controlling Syria. in the confusion after the initial fall of Assad, It would be anybody’s guess who would wind up with some gas including mercenaries who would sell the stuff to the highest bidder.

    Cowardly Republican John Cornyn criticized Obama for not asking congress to allow war, then criticized him for asking and says he’ll vote against. He criticized Obama for not intervening in Syria, then criticized him for wanting to intervene. The Republicans do not have a foreign policy. It’s “whatever Obama is for we’re against, and if he ever changes his mind we’ll change ours too.” It’s no way to govern.

    Which would be a problem if they wanted to govern… but it seems they’re only interested in ruling.

    Is there any doubt that if this exact same scenario had occurred during the Bush administration that all of the R lemmings would be shouting…“It was the courageous and steadfast threat of force by our man in the face of overwhelming popular disapproval that made the Syrians back down. He has to be considered one of the greatest Presidents of all time.” Is there any doubt???

    When you elect a Senator. You must have missed that part of his bio huh?!? That’s like saying today you are professionally what you were years ago. Love it when folks cherry pick stuff.

    Rock, I also caught the Ed Show, and he had some great numbers the repubtards can’t stand to admit, and like you, was laughing, but my cat only weighs four pounds! But, careful, we’ll get attacked for listening to , or watching Ed, an obvious “commie plot”, not a all like being “patriots” and dedicating three hours a day being a dittohead, listening to Limpbulbs unfounded garbage, bigotry, and hate.

    Maybe “Fraud Victims”…but that’s not an “adjective”, either.

    I thought you guys were going to get ridiculed for being cat people. Guess that’s one more thing I have in common with you guys. ‘Cept my kitty was taken from me a year ago so I must find solace in my children’s two kitties and my wife’s kitty. Only one of the three weighs less than 14 lbs. I can’t imagine a kitty that weighed only four pounds, except for a kitten.

    I noticed the over-the-top couple reference, the accurate claim of your side’s accusation and the I assume reference to rush. But… you are always quick to call out a member whose political views you do not agree with on their verbal indiscretions. Why aren’t you ever willing to call out any of your ilk for their insults, name-calling and personal attacks? Is it because it’s only okay if they’re a republican? Is it because you adhere to the republican’s double standards? And you continually claim you are not a hypocrite.
