At first glance I thought the GOP was a pile of poop not ashes.

Don’t laugh. I’ve seen Democrats lose battles to weaker opponents than a pile of smoldering ashes.

When enough owners of companies “Go Galt” , you will see the true damage of progressive policy. For example, Bill’s Barbeque in Richmond has closed their doors due to the repressive regulations.

Right, Papa John lives in a 22,000 square foot mansion but he can’t afford to buy his employees health insurance.

I wouldn’t care to eat Bill’s food unless the quality and safety
were regulated

Bill’s Barbeque in Richmond has closed their doors due to the repressive regulations"
“A statement released by an attorney for the company at time of closing suggested the economic collapse of 2008 dealt a staggering blow to the local chain, and indicated that ‘the economy during the past five years, market changes and the high cost of upgrading operations’ made it unfeasible for it to continue.”
“Aside from that, public health records show that different locations of the chain were cited for at least 8 health code violations in 2009 alone, including 5 critical violations, and that several locations had critical violations dating back as far as 2003. . . despite the failure of Bill’s Barbecue, downtown Richmond has experienced a boom in development recently, and that other barbecue companies are expanding.”

Bill’s Barbecue had bad food in a dirty restaurant, presented by servers with rotten attitudes. The only thing that closed them down was their own inability to compete with better restaurants.

I think it’s just terrible that government regulations prevent restaurant owners from serving anything they want under any conditions they want. The Free Market will deal with any problems. If people die from eating bad food at a restaurant they won’t go back to that restaurant.

Yes, it’s pretty amusing when even the people at Fox aren’t buying Karl’s BS.
