Harley, you’re deliberately being obtuse. This is not about people currently under 55 who retire from their jobs (like Mitt Romney, for example). This is about people who are currently under 55, who, when they reach retirement age (whenever that is) are the ones who will be screwed by the Republicans. They get to pay for Medicare their entire lives, but it will be taken from them to pay for tax cuts for the rich. They’ll be left buying insurance on the open market (which essentially cannot be bought by people over 65, which is why Medicare was created in the first place). If you’re under 55, you’d be an idiot to vote Republican in these times.
