Well, American Political Ethics (And THERE is an oxymoron for you!) have been going down the drain for years!

They did not go down the drain. They were flushed. Tom is just trying to be kind.

I don’t get this cartoon. I don’t know what he means by Gray. This must be about local politics in Washington. But Toles is still one of the most clever cartoonists. I agree with him usually every day.

Election finance scandal of the mayor of Washington DC. Name of Vincent Gray. Local news. not pleasant.

Since the House recently refused to allow the sole (non-voting) member representing DC to even be allowed to speak on proposal directedly related to governance of DC we should hardly be surprised. Disenfranchized people commonly turn to “crime”, and even when they don’t are often accused of it. DC today is sounding more and more like a Black kid in the South in the ’30’s.

DC destroyed by being a Federal and Local city. The only city where the Congress tells them what to do. Destroyed by Federalism.

Republicants are doing their level best to disenfranchise anyone who doesn’t vote for them and their fascist agenda:i.e. the poor, minorities and the smart.

You have it wrong. The democrats are the party of fascism.
They are the ones that beat anyone that disagrees with them. They are the ones that support killing one in three black children concieved in the US by abortion. They are the ones that make sure that entry level jobs are given to illegal immigrants rather than Black youths (50% unemployment) They are the ones race baiting. They are the ones that founded the KKK. They are the ones that segregated the civil service under Wilson. They are the ones that fought against every peice of civil rights legislation from 1848 to 1965. They are the ones that offered treasonous support to communist dictatorships (read up on ted kennedy’s letter to Gorbachov in May of 1983).
Democrats are the party of racism and fascism. There is no denying that.
