Of course, according to Rowan Atkinson, Lord Blackadder was mistaken for the future George IV by George III. So, therefore, George IV was not insane. I think that’s how it goes… :-)

George III was Eddie’s great grandfather, yes. George II was his great great great grandfather.

George III was the grandson of George II. Prince Frederick (III’s father/II’s son) died before his father so the crown skipped a generation.
