Good old Cold War joke, but shouldn’t p3 read “…former enemy…?”

He’s talking about WWII. We were “allies” then.

I liked the Yakov Smirnoff gag in an old gasoline commercial where the pitch line was “your car knows.” As he pulls away from the pump, he looks back out the window at the camera and says, “In Russia cars also know. But they can’t say!” He then pulls off with his trademark donkey laugh.

Oh, man! Then how will she ever learn to say “Orange you glad I didn’t say ‘banana?’”

Mine was Yakov’s Miller Light commercial where he says in America you have Cold Miller Light, and you can always find a party, then he gets all serious and says “In Russia Party always find you”.
