Oh, no, not a Noah story Ark.
At least the ruler has a good moral compass.

What would a one-dimensional being know about arcs?

Is this going to be one of those protracted arcs….
the kind that just go round and round?

Ok…. sigh… I guess I’ll just curl up with some pi and square root beer….

I think he’ll need a few degrees in order to build that arc.

If you recall your Geometry (and I know you do), constructions were made using only straightedge and compass; so in the sense of constructing an ark, this has a double meaning. I think it’s well done!.
I know, there are those who will point out that this is a ruler, but I say you can’t have a ruler without a straight edge.
But then, the whole argument is circular…..
