The Argyle Sweater presents a surreal, hilarious (and sometimes punny) look at the world you think you know. Armed with a willingness to explore every edge of the surreal, Scott Hilburn’s creation presents his sharply unique take on history, everyday life and the truly absurd.

They can the ones at the top of the pay scale…
but it’s stupid, cos they don’t all work in a vacuum.

Alexikakos…. sorry I didn’t get back to answer you….
Yes, sometimes, a little… but that one I got…
Remember, if it’s easy to read two ways, half the people might take each path…
and it doesn’t make either of them wrong.
Hey, I write a lot of obvious groaners (sea above), but I throw out a zillion that nobody gets…
I figure as long as I amuse myself, which is waaaay too easy, it’s OK.
My fantasy is that some day, maybe after I’m gone, some future comics archeologist will be reading the archives, and say…
“Oh! I get it. Why didn’t anybody laugh? Maybe it wasn’t funny yet in the 21st century.”

@SusanSunshine
Thanks for gettting back to me.
.
I guess I tend to forget that not everybody has the same sense of humour, or the same experiences to make the references, as I do.
.
I shouldn’t though. There’s many a day where I have to go looking to get the jokes/references in both the comics and the comments.
