Is that Donald Trump’s great great grandmother? It looks like she has a squirrel tied on top of her head.

And it’s only a woodcut edition…if she had the large-format hardback “pulpit Bibles” of today with glossy full-colour reprints of classic paintings….ohhh Nelly!

And it’s not tied – in the olden days they used to train them to do that. Only service marmosets were allowed into shops, theatres and restaurants.

Enlarged image can be found here or at Mr. Melcher’s blog entry.

Portrait of a Reading Woman is shown, with a different coloration image, and described (click More details, Google translated), by its current-location page (has big detail image, click the minus spyglass for full image, Chrome can automatically translate the Dutch page). Museum blog entry has longer description.

A different coloration, click-to-enlarge image can be found here, along with a description, and accompanying click-to-enlarge detail image, described here.

Another different coloration, click-to-enlarge image can be found here, another one here, and another one here; but there are several such available online. This 17th century Dutch artist‘s Wikipedia page and collection (many more under Subcategories at each level).

Fourth, of the at least 5 (6, if you include this, which Mr. Melcher mis-attributed to Vermeer) works, by this artist (3 as Gerrit Dou), that have, so far, appeared in Mr. Melcher’s blog, to also appear here.
