Tired of art snobs and their stuffy old museums? So was Steve Melcher, so he created That Is Priceless -- dedicated to taking art’s greatest masterpieces down a peg with irreverent new titles. You don’t have to be an art lover to appreciate Steve’s sticking it to the man on a regular basis – especially when that man is someone like Caravaggio, who when you look a little closer, was really kind of a jerk.

Was reincarnated as Baby Snooks.

In those days they would strap the baby to a board under its clothes, to make it lie straight. I imagine they were easier to carry as well.

Unfortunately for van Hoogstraaten, she floated at the dunking and Bitsy sank, so they set Bitsy free.

Click-to-enlarge image can be found here. Enlarged image can be found at Mr. Melcher’s blog entry.
Elizabeth Clarke Freake (Mrs. John Freake) and Baby Mary is shown, with a different coloration image, and described by its current-location, which provides a second webpage with another different coloration image.
While I could find no Wikipedia page, the current-location describes the family here, and this has a family tree.
Ninth, of the at least 16 works, with no attribution, that have, so far, appeared in Mr. Melcher’s blog, to also appear here.

@Radish
If you mentioned witchcraft because of the actual title, she wasn’t that Elizabeth Clarke.

I’m just wondering what the Dick Tracy two way wrist radio is for?
Puddlesplatt said, 3 months ago
