When Jamie Lee said, “Those are all mistakes, Otto. I looked them up,” the laughter that was playing around her eyes and mouth! Infectious Funny! I wonder how many takes before they even got that close to playing it straight?
Absolutely agreed – one of the best!

does activia really work? so, now we are putting laxatives in our food? and, some classy ladies are some of the most disgusting on the throne. just in that movie, the change-up with jason bateman. and, let’s not forget bridesmaids.

Click-to-enlarge image can be found here (along with a brief description), or at the only work by this artist, so far, to appear in Mr. Melcher’s blog.

Maria Isabel de Braganza, Queen of Spain, as founder of the Prado Museum is shown by its current-location page (Google translation, different coloration click-to-enlarge image, and click-to-humongous image).

A short artist bio (Google translated) there gives it the translated title Doña María Isabel de Braganza as founder of the Museo del Prado, and lists 4 other portraits by him at the museum. His Google translated Spanish Wikipedia page and collection.

No, Activia yogurt is not a laxative in any way. Like the “acidophilus” milk etc sold in the US back in the 70s (and maybe still is), the culture itself is totally innocuous and doesn’t affect your body’s functions in the slightest; however punters pay extra for something they percieve as “healthier”. Danacol, however, and that “cholesterol lowering” margarine, were actually originally developed as medical treatments and when no lab would pick them up, are now sold as “health foods.” When eaten very sparingly they may be a help to some people, but when slathered about indiscriminately they have caused problems.

Activia doesn’t do anything that normal yoghurt does.

Anything featuring John Cleese is worth watching.

    Just don’t mention the war!

I wasn’t a fan of Flowery T**ts. I think Cleese played the character of Basil too well and I don’t particularly like that sort of person.
