    Turkish rider (AKA Suleiman the Magnificent on horseback) is described in this Google translated caption (source of the, prior to restoration, title image, the © shows its current-location). The artist’s Wikipedia page (says he was Flemish, not English) and collection (more in the Subcategories).

    So far, only work by this artist to appear in Mr. Melcher’s blog.
