In your comment there are four bloopers
    1 “theree” rather than “there”
2 “surmon” in place of “sermon”
    3 “innoculation” instead of “inoculation”
4 German sheepherd" dogs instead of German shepherds.

I can’t type to save my tail these days, so there were far more than 4 bloopers in the production of this comment. Love your wit!

I was singing in a dinner theater production and walked to the end of the stage runway, found the hot spot in the overhead lights, looked down, and a woman in front exposed her breast to me.

I never missed a note but still remember her 35 years later and often wonder if she remembers that incident as well.

Looks like Jesus is experiencing the same with a guy down front.

“And here we have the latest in masculine wrap-arounds from the house of Magdalene. Note, also, the ‘sombrero grande’; courtesy of Mary’s Millinery of London”

“Nicely modelled and be careful not to do a Naomi!”

I still want to know how so many of these “artists” got Jesus to pose for them. He must’ve have needed the money pretty bad in those centuries. . ..

In The Epic Movie "The King Of Kings’ there are four bloopers
1 There was a shadow of a 727 in the sermon of the mound scene
2 Mary Magdalene has a smallpox inoculation scar
3 Prickly pear (opuntsia vulgaris) cactus in Judea before America was discovered
4 Alsatian or German sheperd dogs running about before their time
    Happy now :O)

Been there, done that, and couldn’t resist, especially with the 4 vs. 4; have a great day. It’s 4:43 AM here and I have no idea why I’m awake; not even sure I am. Does sleep-commenting exist? I’ll leave that for you, 6, Johnny D, and Mr. Dog to decide. I’m herstory.

Not sure you really meant sermon of the mound.

Also the genus name of prickly pears is Opuntia, not Opuntsia. Genus names are capitalized.

    Click-to-enlarge image available from here.

This panel was in the predella of the (now dismantled) St. Florian altar, AKA Sebastian Altar, described here. It and some of the other panels are also pointed to here (click the Info column entry for a description) and here (look for St. Florian). There are more panels, but the book isn’t online (to provide a list). The artist’s Wikipedia page also discusses it. Wikipedia collection of paintings (subcategories may have more) and other works by this artist.

So far, 4 works by this artist have appeared in Mr. Melcher’s blog.

At first I thought you were joking. However, after looking a second time, I can see Simpson in His flowing wrap.
