Why isn’t the skunk named Obamacare, the economy, the government shutdown…?
Oh! I get it now! Not enough room for everything they’ve done for us!

“Democrats are depicted as cats ….and the repubs as dogs”

Maybe so, Clark, but they both will deliver stinking things to their masters in the belief they have done a good thing.

But that won’t be the way it goes. ObamaCare is designed to self-destruct as quickly as as possible so that the leftist Dems will be able to come back and say that they need a complete and total takeover of the healthcare system. Single payer is what they want and they will not stop until they get it. After they get single payer in place, all doctors and hospitals will be effectively owned by the government. DEATH PANELS RULE.

And that’s how the rest of the world does it!
…well except that the rest of the world gets better results than we do, for less cost.
But hey, if you want to have your life in the hands of American “death panels”, a.k.a. the accountants of our for-profit insurance companies….

As a doctor, I can’t wait for the day that we get single payer. At this time, I am effectively owned by private insurance companies. They micro-manage every part of my exam process, to the point that I do not have the leeway to determine the appropriate tests and treatments for the patient. My pay continues to go down, my responsibilities continue to increase, and my staff has to continually increase their diligence to ensure that we actually get paid for what we do, as insurance companies are in the business of taking your money, and never ever giving any of it back. As far as “death panels” go, you may not realize that the insurance industry gives bonuses to employees who find ways to get out of paying benefits. Even without that, every plan has to decide what is worth paying for and what is not. If you call this “death panels”, feel free. But if you feel that private insurance does not have these, you are fooling yourself.

I’d say you scare the liver out of me except I wouldn’t trust anyone to put it back in.

That reduction of insurance company “overhead” , read profits, to only 20% is a large part of the objection to the program, and the reason Republicans want the whole thing scrapped. The cost of keeping up with those same insurance company requirements is, as “play one” notes, is a very large part of Doctors’ costs, and mandated “care” to keep those tests a ’rollin, and increasing profits further.

Yes, I’m a doctor too. I hate Obamacare. Obama doesn’t use it, why should I?

Although it is true that the Republicans (AKA Tea Party) will be jumping for joy if the economy crashes, it will be their antics that (once again) will cause the crash. Just so they can try to spin it against the Dem’s……

On Stephanie Miller’s show, Rafael of the North is a whiny, irritating mosquito. I love it!
