That reduction of insurance company “overhead” , read profits, to only 20% is a large part of the objection to the program, and the reason Republicans want the whole thing scrapped. The cost of keeping up with those same insurance company requirements is, as “play one” notes, is a very large part of Doctors’ costs, and mandated “care” to keep those tests a ’rollin, and increasing profits further.
Although it is true that the Republicans (AKA Tea Party) will be jumping for joy if the economy crashes, it will be their antics that (once again) will cause the crash. Just so they can try to spin it against the Dem’s……
