After watching all of those TV shows about someone who goes over the edge, I think it is best to stay single…

According to the movies and TV, marriage sucks.
Looking at my siblings … I’m inclined to think the opposite.
But happy marriages don’t make for good comedy and/or drama … unless they’re not central to it.

One of the reasons I wrote this

was that there is absolutely nothing in recent media that shows marriage in a positive light.

Once I sat around a table with a happy married man. a reasonably happy single person myself, and the rest were unhappy and divorced. Considering the odds, I decided to stay single. A roll of a die has better odds.

Shoes out on a limb here

Life is like a baseball game..

    You win some

    You lose some

Sometimes the game gets rained out..

But as I always say …

Getting older beats the heck out of the alternative.

The proper question is… “Where were you 30 years ago, and with whom were you doing it?”
