It’s a shame, ain’t it? Things were going so-o-o-o well in Afghanistan before Obama took over.

And those who actually read the book are very puzzled by this toon.
Where did this artist get his impression of what was in the book? A conservative opinion blog written by another who did not read the book?
    And it just snowballs.

What Gates has to say about his book:

The Beltway reacted strongly [to criticisms of President Obama in the book Duty], asking, “Are you trashing the president?” What do you make of that?
I think the narrative of the book was hijacked in the early reporting. Most people hadn’t read the book. There was some narrative put out there that this is an anti-Obama book, a book that takes issues with his strategy and everything in Afghanistan. And it’s just completely wrong. I’m very clear in the book—I supported every single one of the president’s decisions on Afghanistan from the day he took office until the day I left office. It’s not exactly wrong in that they do have quotes from the book that are accurate, but they’re out of context.

Quick, somebody do the math, 590 plus pages of laudatory writing, and 10 pages of not. What’s the percentage?

Listening to GATES himself point out that his “negative” commentary is far outweighed by the “complimentary” acknowledgements, guts the “conservatives” argument, and even though their throats are cut, the can’t stop babbling, and fomenting their hatred, vile, disgusting, ignorant, and all pervasive. But, yes they all (like "cubic, roadkill eater, and others who change names more than their underwear) will still scream it’s “liberals” willing to accept valid critique, as well as truth, and knowledge, who are “hateful”.

    LOL Dude, really?

your words are “Too bad that you never learned to respect others nor the opinion of others,”

By uttering them you do just that. disrespect the opinion of skip.

Radish calls “gadfly” …very disrespectful of Gates who he knows not.

Skip berates him for his position citing his knowledge of Radish from past conversations and stating his opinion that radish is shallow……oh so terrible.

And you (like me LOL) must throw in your two cents about insults …..

    Great entertainment!

Sounds like negative pieces are being cherry picked for the low information voters. It seems to be working.
