We’re not the cops of the world, that’s supposed to be the UN’s job.

@radish, you got that right. We should worry about our own problems, we got plenty of them.

During the Bush years we were forced to listen to a daily death toll from the War on Terror. Why did that stop the day Obama got sworn in?
Where’s the death count on this Admin. Foreign policy. Why aren’t we shown the photos of the dead civilians from the drone attacks. You know, the collateral damage for murdering 1 suspected leader.
Obama was instrumental in the “Arab Spring”, thousands have died in this movement of so- called democracy. He is an agent of chaos.

EVERYONE knows that there are no such things as WMD’s in the middle east. Just because sarin gas was found in Iraq doesn’t mean Saddam was going to use it in war against his own people again. It was probably a catalyst in making happy pills so his people could live in peace and love for their neighbors. He was making the big cannons so he could share those happy pills with Israel.
Did O give Assad that stick? Wink-wink-nod-nod to Assad! Carry on, America is headed for a fiscal cliff then a new debt ceiling. We don’t really care about other people anymore.

Isn’t it interesting that the Rethugs are grousing about “Obama getting us into the war in Libya”, when we sent NO TROOPS, and there were NO U.S. casualties, and they don’t say anything about shrub’s 2 wars. NOW, they complain about the conflict in Syria! Some say we need to invade, and others say we need to stat out!
And that’s JUST the Republicans! SHEESH!!

“Why did that stop the day Obama got sworn in?”
--Obama is not trying to create a climate of FEAR, FEAR, FEAR.
He’s looking to make things better for ALL AMERICANS.

“Agent of chaos” – I like that. It’s a perfect description of him.

But the UN is not good for anything except backing fascists.

@Ms. Ima
Actually, we know that Iraq had chemical weapons. We know this because Sadam used them against his own people. But, I guess that doesn’t count because it is not what you want to believe.

Oh, please, narrowmind. Bush OUTLAWED showing photos of our dead soldiers returning home. Obama turned that around. One reason that we’re not seeing so many reports of dead soldiers is that we’re bringing them home alive.
I Play One On TV said, 7 months ago
@ ARodney and narrowminded:
What he said. And in addition, the sad reason we don’t see reports is that people in this country have moved on. The war has lost any importance on them, and, unless they have family members who have volunteered to serve, they have mostly forgotten that “there’s a war on”.
My suggestion would be to re-institute the draft with no exceptions for any reason. When relatives of congressmen, governors, big-pocket campaign donors, etc., start getting their draft notices, you’ll be surprised how few conflicts we’re willing to join, and how quickly we will exit dead-end wars with no goal and no hope of achieving much of anything.

Simple fact, it was Don Rumsfeld and Cheney who provided Saddam those chemical weapons, a long time ago, that he used on his people (well Kurds). They did it through transactions with Germany, just like the nuclear development material WE gave him. WE supported him against Iran. WE supported bin Laden and the Taliban against Russia, and now face some of those same weapons, WE gave them.
CYA gets more difficult every day with U.S. involvement. The U.N. actually does (as screwed up as the are) a better job of “peacekeeping” than the U. S. acting alone, or even when we refuse to support the U.N. in their much more difficult role.
