Ripley's Believe It or Not has been presenting the incredible and the unusual in illustrated form since Robert Ripley's first "Champs and Chumps" comic published on Dec. 19, 1918. Currently, B.I.O.N. is illustrated by John Graziano, who has been working as an artist and illustrator since 1983, when he received a certificate in illustration from the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts. He has designed trading card sets and a portrait series based on the 1960s cult TV show "Dark Shadows." John has also created comic strips for "Scream Queens" magazine, designed t-shirts graphics and created storyboards and concept drawings for Hollywood films. Researcher Lucas Stram has worked since 2004 as the voice behind the cartoon, reviewing potential stories, filtering through the hundreds of weekly submissions and putting together the stories for John to bring to life. New submissions are always welcome. Just click here.

Atlas moths. That is messed up. I had to check that out. They starve to death after about 2 weeks living only long enough to mate and lay eggs. Never though I would feel sorry for a moth but I do now

Whoa, David, somewhere, somehow, somebody’s gotta eat something….wait….maybe in the larva stage they gobble enough to tide the adult over until it can mate.

I see that little Waski appears to be pretty chubby. Is that from sitting on his rear end at a computer?
CARAPORAM said, 6 months ago
@treesareus
I think he’s eating all the food left in Bangladesh.

For that price the sheep better come with golden fleece.

I was going to ask how atlas moths get by with no food, and I think you already answered my question.

Cicadas are the same way. Look closely and the cicada has no mouth parts. A strenuous life cycle. (They do all their eating in the stage previous to metamorphosis.)

Don’t forget wings, the golden fleece was from a winged ram.

Oh that’s cruel! Very funny, but cruel!

Children in the Asian countries are programming computers while children in the USA are playing video games. Perhaps our schools need to offer classes in programming languages as an alternative option to foreign language classes. Who knows? Your child could be the next Bill Gates. ☺

Kids in the USA should get with the program.

I expect him to log in at GoComics any day now. I wonder what his favorites will be.
