Ripley's Believe It or Not has been presenting the incredible and the unusual in illustrated form since Robert Ripley's first "Champs and Chumps" comic published on Dec. 19, 1918. Currently, B.I.O.N. is illustrated by John Graziano, who has been working as an artist and illustrator since 1983, when he received a certificate in illustration from the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts. He has designed trading card sets and a portrait series based on the 1960s cult TV show "Dark Shadows." John has also created comic strips for "Scream Queens" magazine, designed t-shirts graphics and created storyboards and concept drawings for Hollywood films. Researcher Lucas Stram has worked since 2004 as the voice behind the cartoon, reviewing potential stories, filtering through the hundreds of weekly submissions and putting together the stories for John to bring to life. New submissions are always welcome. Just click here.

Amazing with Mr. Smith there. How about two Australian cyclist brothers Lorin and Dean Nicholson going from Perth to Sydney (2480 miles)… they’re also blind, but they rode in the back of tandem bicycles.

My oldest friend (longest-term), who I have known since 1973, is legally-blind and rides a bicycle. She has lost her right eye to glaucoma and suffers from glaucoma in her left eye.
I do tease her (in mock jealousy) for her “therapy,” which is illegal in Pennsylvania since this backward state will not legalize medicinal marijuana, which was first used for glaucoma patients.

Yes you must be expert in the preparation or you can kill someone.

I heard that even if pufferfish sashimi is prepared correctly, there’s still some neurotoxin left that can temporarily numb your mouth, like novocaine.

According to the law, AshburnStadium’s oldest friend is a ‘cheetah’.

And who the hell is gonna pay the price when he misses a light, runs through an intersection and gets hit by a car? Then he’ll be a helpless victim.

bluegirl285 you’ve got it right. Some japanese friends invited me to join them in a fugu sashimi meal. The first sign that all was not well was my numb lips, the next two days was hell getting over “just feeling rotten”. Best to leave the fugu to the natives.

Strangely enough, Massachusetts legalized medical pot a month or so ago-AND NOBODY NOTICED! Not one article in the national or international press!

If the chef fails to clean the fish correctly and it kills you, he can lose his license.

I will keep this in mind the next time my cheetah needs a transplant.
