    Nice touch to show all the TV antennas on the homes. I remember when it very rare to see a home without one.

    comicgos: The rocket propellent is usually black powder (gunpowder), but the explosive in firecrackers is usually flash powder. Yesterday I gave up calculating how many lifetimes I would be sentenced to prison for what I did totally legally as a kid, and making my own fireworks is only part of it.

    We would search for “dud” firecrackers, break them in half and light them as a blowtorch. Great for melting toy soldiers!
