EWW…what a yucky Thanksgiving.

The first Thanksgiving was possible because the Pilgrims switched from collective farming to individual garden plots. Each family was able to keep what they grew, so there was incentive to work harder and grow more. They switched from socalism to capitalism.

isnt shellfish the same thing as seafood?

Hmm. I’d like a nice clam chowder right now. Boston not Manhattan.

Actually the Japanese have a dish called shiokara, made from squid bits cured in fermented squid intestines that is an acquired taste even for the Japanese. Washed down with a shot of straight whiskey I think it is delicious.

The law locks up both man and woman
Who steals a goose from off the common,
But lets the greater felon loose
Who steals the common ’neath the goose.

Even so they had no grain so no dough so no pie crust. Still without the Wompanaug aid they would have starved to death. All that Socialism saved them and their precious white Capitalism. If indeed they sold it to each other or not. If no money exchanged hands then is it Capitalism?

Funny thing is a mixture of Socialism and Capitalism works best of all. One or the other do not.

All shellfish are technically seafood, but all seafood is not shellfish. In common usage nowadays, seafood is that which does not have an exoskeleton.
