    I adjust the position of my outstretched hands to act as wing flaps, it gives me just enough lift to clear the wires. Unfortunately, it’s a struggle, because there is always a hill.

    Twisting and turning
    I give up the struggle;
    To hell with this dream,
    I think I’ll just snuggle.

    I finally break free,
    Enjoying my power,
    Too bad I don’t see
    The tall cell phone tower.

    My flight dreams sometimes has those pesky power lines in them, too. Hard to get completely away from anxieties, even (or especially) in dreams.

    If it’s actually telephone wires, it might not be too shocking. Power lines, on the other hand…
