Life is not a casino, and the rest of us should not be saddled with the consequences of your poor choices. When you choose to not take care of your health, it ends up being a burden on the rest of us, because we are obliged to step up and try to help. THAT is the social contract so many try to pretend does not exist.

The elections there are like a multiple choice question, but with no right answers being offered

It is quite one thing for a company to pay to improve it’s connection, but they should be denied the ability to influence the quality of others. Creating opportunity for access is ok, suppressing another is not.

This is ridiculous. In order to be fair, the college need only accept oversight if it is determined that the racial balance being accepted does not match the racial balance of qualified applicants. In that case, blind criteria must be adopted, which denies judgment on any racially identifiable characteristics. It is only racism, if race or it’s effective equivalent is involved.

the idea that keystone will lower gas prices in the US, ignores the fact that higher profits can be made selling outside the US. At what point do people expect corporations to NOT chase the biggest profits? Keystone makes exporting MORE cost effective, not less.

Conservatives amuse me. They claim to fight for results based on individual effort, then turn around and try to arrange for their children to make NO effort through leveraged tax free inheritance. I get it, you think the things you do today will make their lives easier tomorrow. You want to help them.

So… where are they going to live, exactly, that won’t be affected by the climate when tomorrow does come? That money you earned has no value if the surrounding economy collapses, and climate change is promising to make things very interesting.

Then the text should have read FOUND, not GAVE.The context in no way suggests more effort on either side, simply different results.

Re-Labeling issues rather than dealing with them honestly has become a new tactic. They no longer have voter suppression, they have protective safeguards to prevent voter fraud. In many ways, the ultimate impact of the system needs to be observed before conclusions can be drawn. And one side has learned, that possession of office, legitimate or otherwise, is a determining factor regarding keeping said office.

Except this is obviously Uncle Sam’s leg that is shackled, not a specific person.WE ALL are uncle Sam
