    Can you explain that?

I do not understand how that has anything to do with it.

Come on people : Vote! It does matter, and it is important.

The counting of the vote is balanced for a reason; I see this kind of complaining everywhere, but I have never heard anyone with a sound solution to the problem arising from “one man, one vote”

Until we get a solution, the way we do it today is as good as it gets.

I will be rooting for the Donkey tonight, but what I will really root for , is high turnouts. (I’m European, I cant do sqat about the vote, but I live with the outcome.)

If I were to go apeshit on an voter fraud issue, I would probably choose the practice of paying for votes before demanding ID.

Well, that is preparation, almost everything in a political campaign is marketing; beeing prepared for the end result makes sense.

Journalism on the other side is analytical and reporting; basically everthing BUT marketing.

Sadly this is the quality of press we have over the whole earth at the moment. It s not about knowledge and learning, its about pushing the included ads to paying eyes.

    From Norway.

The reason I brought it up, is because we do have Voters ID law and I do not think anyone ever has brought in this as a democratic problem.

On the other side, we are a very small country, which means almost everybody has passports. And we use very little cash, so even kids gets a ATM card with official ID at age 13 free of charge.

There is two things that really puzzles me as a foreigner. 1. How do you dare accept a vote without proper ID2. Who is able to get beyond voting age18 and not have a proper ID card? My kids get them from their bank at age 13.

I will say he is rather respected from my point of view; but I have to admit that has something to do with the fact he replaced Bush jr.

Personaly I think you deserve whatever nitwit you elect to office.

On the other side : Reagan was a bummer; Bush jr. was plain stupid; we tend to react on the presidents you choose that is mental to the point that they can turn OUR countries into nuclear wasteland or battlegrounds. Especially because out politicians is rather starstruck when it comes to the GREAT US of A.

One thing I never will understand is the fact that you consider Reagan; the person in history that was closest from starting the third world war nuclear holocaust SIMPLY BASED AS A JOKE, as one of your great leaders! It shows a lack of understanding of the world that is unnerving. (yes , I talked to a couple of his followers… it was an eyeopener to american politics…)

This got me curious: Doesn’t every bank give out free photo ID?

You do not use Passports very much as far as I know; So how can you do anything with money without PhotoID ?
