I feel like Luann has been yo-yo’d more than put in stasis. She had goals at one point and was working towards them. But that’s just gone now.Last year I did a read through of the entire series and every time Luann finds something she is good at it gets focused on for a little while and then fades away. Like the feel the need to keep blanking her slate so she can be “relatable to everyone” somehow.
Lord. Look, I know that characters should have flaws because otherwise how can the grow and what would be the point of having them in the first place, right? But….could you at least maybe let Tiff and Bets grow, just a little? They’ve been in stasis for too long at this point.
I wouldn’t call it being deliberately unhelpful. More refusing to be a guinea pig for a service they insultingly foisted upon her despite her neither needing nor wanting it.
I have lived my whole life in Texas as well and I can give you a laundry list of horror stories about how some teachers have mistreated students and abused their positions. I can give you first hand experience of the horrible things our local schoolboard did to my father who was a teacher at one time.
So, I maintain my concerns over just who is being allowed to carry weapons on school grounds.
Yep, I live in Texas. I am very much of two minds about that. On one hand I am ALL about protecting the students and giving campus staff the chance to actually respond in time to save lives.
On the other hand, I don’t at all trust bureaucracies to properly choose and train the people who will wield those guns.

Hey Business Majors, did you two know there is this thing called market research and testing? Y’all could very easily post a call for candidates on a campus forum or notice board and pull in people who actually want this service.
