Working several jobs just to pay the rent, transportation to get them to these jobs, and barely able to feed their kids. The majority of folks who can want work – meaningful work that will support them, not qualify them for assistance. What do you suppose is going to happen to the people who can’t work because of disabilities? They’ll be living in the streets – desperate. When people get to the point in life where they have nothing – they have nothing to lose. That’s desperation.
