There seems to be different definitions of “Tropy Wife”. I am recently reading that it means “Gold Digger”, but that is not what I remember hearing when the term first came about. I always thought a Tropy Wife was more along these lines, "She is usually beautiful & may be younger than Hubby. She is also educated, socially skilled & “accomplished.” In the old days, accomplishments were fancy sewing, playing an instrument & speaking French; now, athletic skills & the right sort of volunteer work are what count. She might work—as an entrepreneur or as a professional. But she will have time to look good on Hubbie’s arm as he moves in more rarefied circles."

I had always understood the “official” reason for denying Ho Chi Min was that France was our NATO ally and we did not want back a “war” against our ally

Think I became a “regular” reader sometime in high school. I was in 6th or 7th grade when Doonesbury started. And I had the S&G album “Bridge Over Troubled Waters”

I have never been to a Tea Party meeting, but I have seen some websites. Not an “Official” website, but I’ve followed links to articles posted on Facebook. If ignorance scares you, seeing these sites would be terrifying!

It’s really not so much about WHAT you say, but HOW you say it.
