No; the hinge flipped. As Bernice approaches the door in the hallway, the knob is at her right hand. But when she’s standing outside looking into the room, the hinge is on her right and the knob is at her left hand.

Yup. Hence the existence of the phrase “half-smile”. And more than a few emoticons based on same. Heck, I even have one of my own. And yes, it’s generally an expression of amusement.

“Being the one” for him isn’t a good thing if he’s not “the one” for her. And it currently looks like he’s sharing her with her entire internet following. She needs to dial it back a bit; he already stepped way out of his comfort zone for her.

But until now, all her credit cards HAVE just refilled themselves every month. Instead of teaching her how money actually works, her dad taught her money was just always going to be there for her. It’s not that she isn’t capable of understanding credit, it’s that she’s been misled her whole life. Daddy has never had time for her, so why would he have time to teach her anything at all about how life works? The question now is whether she’ll realize how much damage her upbringing has done to her, and what she’ll do about it.

This house was built specifically for these two to share. Why is there a “bigger bedroom” in the first place? Talk about poor planning!

No, he borrowed them from 70’s man. In the 80’s, pay phones cost a quarter.

Tire changes and at least knowing the required schedule for basic maintenance such as oil changes, along with proper tire pressure etc., were part of Driver’s Ed when I was in high school. No idea whether they still are.
