    The constantly shrinking of the comics doesn’t help. Newspapers don’t have ‘zoom’.

    Mine improved….three operations later. Only $1 store reading glasses today. Before I wore THICK glasses and later THICK contacts.

    $1 store reading glasses are all I need so far, and at that price I have a pair for the computer, a pair for reading, and another to keep at work…

    My kid used to tell me that newspapers are for the technologically challenged. They rely on time proven technology like… THE MAGNIFYING GLASS!

    I think it was one of those Ask Marylyn strips in Parade. My eyesight really took a turn for the worse after 40, and it’s still getting worse years later.

    It normally does if you were “near-sighted” to begin with. As we age, our vision tends to become more "far-sighted.
