Older garments are made better then what you can buy now. I have old jeans that will last longer then me, unlike the cheesy material they make jeans out of now…

Must be true. I wear a winter coat that was my grandfather’s and he died in 1958.

Wonder if rabbit clothes fit dogs well?

    very true.
by the time my grandfather when he came to America here. every bit of clothing he wore. it had been previously worn by his two older brothers before handed down to him.
the only time as a teen that he ever had something that was not previously owned by some member of his family, was the abalone shell he had picked up off the beach in Vancouver in the 1880s.

Why would a rabbit give away clothes? She’s going to have two more ‘litters’ this year.

I’m glad that my older siblings were girls. The clothes skipped me and went to the younger pair of sisters.
/I did get the wreck of a bicycle handed down.

In Junior High and High School during the 70s I was wearing hand-me-downs from my brothers who were 4 and 5 years older

I specifically recall a purple paisley shirt and really hope no pictures of me in it have survived

Sheila is a Kangaroo, not a Rabbit. And she’s married to a Bear! So, yeah, the clothes would probably fit dogs.

That young one in the papoose will grow to resent those hand-me-downs, and will only want spiffy new clothing when he grows up. My mother had the finest natural fabrics as a child – as an adult she liked cheap polyester. Better to salt her money away to make her get away. I had new, very cheapo polyester clothes as a kid and I now like old clothes made of natural fabrics that breath.
