Hahaha, I try to do that. Even to a radio I find myself reaching for the knob to ffw through a commercial.

Just be thankful you don’t have to turn the knob on the set Nelson.

The best you can do Nelson is hit the mute, like I do…or just take a bathroom break…or in your case, a cookies and milk break…

I have to stop myself from fast forwarding when I know I am watching it in real time. So I like to record and watch later.

My VCR can’t record now, I would have to hook up a converter box.

I’ve been known to try that, Nelson. We usually pre-record so if something’s awful we can bail on it.

Mark, that’s what I thought when I read Llewellenbruce’s comment. Most people don’t know the ‘R’ stands for recorder.

I totally agree, besides if I am gonna watch then I watch, if I miss a program I just catch it on reruns.

“Gramma, tell me about the Olden Days.” How many times did I ask that? These days, when I’m asked, the kid means before the year 2000. Incredible.
