Why do wives even bother asking/letting their husbands to help around the house?

Earl wasn’t trying to please Opal. Just the opposite. He purposely did it wrong to get out of finishing the job. Pretty smart! That is why he was asking his son if he was taking notes.

I am so lucky to have never cared how the towels are folded.

(but without a word…. and after they go home.)

I guess we can’t all be perfect.

that is so true — unfortunately, I am a perfectionist. the worst thing about being a perfectionist is that you know you are trying for perfection, but you also know that there is no such thing as ‘perfect.’ so you know you’re going to fail. very discouraging.
