    As has been posted, the camp arc ended too early… and we never got to see the sea serpent meet Phoebe.
    (Not that I’m complaining … but that would have been cool!)

    Lake Monster: Hi Marigold! Did you bring me dinner?

    Phoebe: I should say not!

    LM: I was referring to the picnic basket in the boat there…

    You can always do something new and daring to impress the old ones (specially those who you have a crush on)

    @Nabuquduriuzhur

    Sounds a little like Big Fat Pauli on Family Guy.
    Peter: I’ve gotta go home for dinner.
    Pauli: Oh. What are we havin’?

    Hmph. I figured that a human could impress Marigold if she didn’t expect much. I mean, a dog who understands 250 words impresses us….

    How does one impress a unicorn?

    @Bruno Zeigerts

    I probably could have made this arc longer—I’m sort of trying to see what I can do with shorter arcs at the moment, though. Newspaper launch is approaching, and I’ve been advised that for a new strip it’s good to keep things short—you can go on for months about one subject when everyone’s already invested.

    Of course, you guys who are invested NOW deserve the best I can give you, so it’s a fine line. :)

    As I said, not complaining. (there’s always flashbacks, anyway.)
    Keep up the good work.

    @Dana Simpson

    Of course, if you cut a story arc short, some people complain, but if you keep it going, others say it’s dragging on too long.
    Can’t win for trying.
    As you said, it’s a fine line.
