    Nice bit of information. Now I know Dakota’s hair is actually alive and intelligent now any thing can happen.

    What happens when Dakota’s older and her hair doesn’t like one of her dates?

    @Nabuquduriuzhur

    over protective hair could be good for her if it knows the right guy from the wrong one. It could save her. I wounder if this is a one note gag that won’t come back or the start of a hair raising thriller involving Dakota shaving her head and her hair growing back and looking for revenge?

    Marigold put too much of herself into that spell. It looks like braids are preferred by six locks out of seven.

    In the sketchbook, where are Twilight’s wings? And she’s not a horse, anyway – she’s a pony!

    Hmmm…if Dakota’s hair is extremely protective toward her, it might even momentarily transform into snakes, Gorgon-style, to turn a potential attacker into stone before resuming its natural form…

    Wonderful. That’s the first out loud laugh I’ve had on this strip for a while. I love it.

    Suddenly I’m thinking of Celia of Monster’s, Inc fame. Her hair snakes were a riot.
