Sorry Marigold, but given a choice between The Willliam Tell Overture and Don’t Fear The Reaper, I’m with B.O.C. all the way

…i don’t know, admittedly the William Tell Overture had been overplayed to death, but, if you actually really listen to it without imagining the Lone Ranger, it’s a pretty impressive (if somewhat bombastic, IMO) piece of music…also, BOC’s Don’t Fear the Reaper has also been played to death on some of the classic rock stations…so, 6 of one…

I dunno, the Lone Ranger traveled with Tonto for years and yet we never called him “The Ranger Who Rides Around With That Other Guy”.

Kudos to you for saying Native Americans!!! It really irks me when someone mistakenly calls my ancestors “Indians.” (I’m Cherokee, by the way)

I know a Native American. He believes there is no such thing as fiction and all things exist in some world some place. Also Phoebe knows some big words.

    Incarnations of Immortality series

I really enjoyed that series of books.

Some other Piers Anthony books I enjoyed are:

    The Mode Series

    The Apprentice Adept series

Yes some who use the threat of “Political Correctness” as a reason to be racist etc. Except that Columbus thought he reached India! Though in all his four trips he not once set on the soil of the sub continents. Just some of the islands.

At least Marigold doesn’t play the harmonica through her horn…yet…

I loved the Apprentice Adept series — at least the first three books. The second series with the robot adept was kind of curious. Didn’t quite like that series as much.

Marigold’s mask is cute. I’m glad I knew it was her, though, otherwise I might not have seen through the disguise! :P
