Sorry Marigold, but given a choice between The Willliam Tell Overture and Don’t Fear The Reaper, I’m with B.O.C. all the way

Hmmm. This is getting into the territory of these books:

At least Marigold doesn’t play the harmonica through her horn…yet……I loved the Apprentice Adept series — at least the first three books. The second series with the robot adept was kind of curious. Didn’t quite like that series as much.

Marigold’s mask is cute. I’m glad I knew it was her, though, otherwise I might not have seen through the disguise! :P

Actually, from what I heard, “Indian” was derived from Columbus describing the natives of the newly discovered land as “personas in dios”.

But I suppose everyone deserves to be called what pleases them.

Except that Columbus thought he reached India!

I believe that is the “accurate” story. Columbus was trying to find another route to India by circumnavigating the globe.

He didn’t expect there to be an entire continent blocking his way!

The Lone Ranger was but a single ranger, as opposed to a posse of Rangers, but he was never alone. One is never alone when you are with your horse.

There are about a gazillion and seven languages spoken in India, so it has a bunch of “real” names. The name “India” comes from the Indus river.
