    I’m surprised he’s not too nauseated to eat after that!

    Charlie Brown seems rather unfazed with the altercation.

    I love panel 2!
    Snoopy should have run off to CB howling, “Girl germs! I got girl germs!”

    I’m surprised she didn’t say “kiss my feet.”

    I was going to say that, Frogman.
    In panel 2 I get the impression they’re dancing like Ali.

    When Lucy offered her hand, Snoopy should have turned around and pointed to his butt. Even Ms. Crabby-Appleton would get the inference.

    @harlequindugong1914 re: yesterday:
    According to Wikipedia, the first appearance by Woodstock was roughly a year after yesterday’s strip, i.e., in 1967, not 1970.

    If you have something that refutes that, please share it with the world by editing the Wikipedia (Woodstock link) page.

    You update wiki, we’re reading the comics LOL! And you know this is from the good ole days before the PC police took over!

    That is exactly my memory. Woodstock appeared in 1967. He did not become a regular character for some time. And he was not NAMED until 1970. Only after he was named did he become a staple in the Peanuts strips.

    Snoopy is my hero! I love how he “bleahs” Lucy, then he has that grin in panel 2, then he imitates Lucy’s grimace in panel 3! Snoopy is a master of expression!

    He should be thankful he didn’t have to plant one “below her back”!
