    Maybe a dumpster diver to get all the junk.

    Hoarders don’t have yard sales.

    I’d like to see a digital clock that flashes Roman numerals.

    Sounds like a good idea for Archie McPhee.

    Or perhaps a former hoarder trying to make up.

    Technically anything that was manufactured over thirty years ago can be considered an antique. The first digital clocks from the early 70’s had flip cjange numbers that were in a way digital. The earliest digital clocks with light up LED numbers were manufactured in 1976! So if it’s one of these and is in excellent working condition, then it is an antique worth more than its original retail value!

    It’s an antique if it is labeled “Made in USA” (by Americans)

    More than likely it’s labeled “Made in USA by (fill in nationality) immigrants”!

    Does anyone see the @Night-Gaunt49 comment to which you replied?

    I checked his profile (the link), and none of his other comments there appear in the other strips either. Looks like GoComics has quarantined/banished him (he can comment, but only he sees them) for something he wrote.

    Since you replied, it must have happened recently. If he or GoComics deleted it, there would be no @Night-Gaunt49 reference in yours.

    This happened to me in February last year. GoComics didn’t notify me; but for one strip, I comment on a regular basis, and I noticed comments wondering why I hadn’t; an hour or so after mine — it was right there, but only I could see it.

    So, I’m letting him know, if he doesn’t already. It took over 2 weeks, with several writing GoComics for my reinstatement, before the ban was lifted. I still have no idea why GoComics did it.

    I know a middle-school computer teacher who has a binary clock.

    @mabrndt

    If you can see his comment now, it means he’s been reinstated.
