We’ve all been through this. In fact we go through it every day. We all know how tough, but also funny, it can be, as we move through life’s situations if we take our knocks with good humor. And we know also how very rewarding it can be when we actually occasionally get things right.

Ahhh….but it may be the dessert that inspires.

Good choice Claire-applying real life to theory instead of using scenarios….and I think the working motivation is true friendship…..thus the reality test….with the most satisfying result!

It’s probably going to be just another Americanized Italian restaurant, maybe. Like….Fazoli’s shivers. Come to think of it, I can’t think of any authentic Italian around here in Lincoln, NE : /

A. J. Jacobs said his family is Jewish like the Oliver Garden is an Italian restaurant. I think that means “in theory only.”

Why are they taking the bus to go to dinner? Don’t they have a car?
I thought Claires’ dad owned a car dealership?

Does anything with Claire turns out good?

Hey everybody, let’s cut Claire some slack. She’s trying and she’s learning from her mistakes. Even Steve Jobs made some errors, but he kept at it. :-)

This is going like a madcap plot to a Brady Bunch episode. Now this thing has got to wind up neatly in 30 minutes. Also, because it’s G-rated, there won’t be anything too racy, which is going to be frustrating for Paul.

Crazy, inexplicable stuff happens in this strip. That’s why we love it so.
