    A crash – Might provide a good excuse to take a walk down memory lane. I am probably telling on myself here, but Nancy is not all that much older than I am. I was wondering if a walk down memory lane might include a look at Aunt Fritzi and Nancy during World War II. Aunt Fritzi paper dolls were the best there were. She probably was not the original model for Barbie dolls – but Barbie dolls were modeled after paper dolls.

    Barbie was modeled from a risque German comic strip from which they made a doll. Ruth Handler’s daughter played with paper dolls because there were no teenage dolls around.

    Your post reminds me of a story arc from the old “Winnie Winkle” strip, where Winnie’s fiance was killed in a car crash while going to meet her at the airport.
    I jure hope the same thing doesn’t happen here.
