Nancy was created by Ernie Bushmiller in the 1930s. Since 1995, the strip has been drawn and written in Bushmiller's classic style by Guy and Brad Gilchrist. Nancy is famed for its gentle humor and surrealistic sight gags. Nancy's childlike innocence never wavers. She remains a devoted friend to her pal Sluggo, and can be, depending on the situation, a conceited prima donna or a fun-loving, cute and cheeky little girl.

Looks like Sluggo’s hormones are acting up.
And he’s not a teenager, yet!

According tp my parents, my dad was painfully shy. He didn’t have the courage to start courting my mom until she gave him a valentine that said “I have tulips just for you.” This was back in the 1930’s. They have both passed away, but thanks for bringing back some really great memories.

Rule #1 of Nancy (I just broke it) is “No Fritzi, no read” because it will be stupid beyond belief. As this one is.

The only reason to click on this dumb strip is the occasional glimpse of Aunt Fritzi or a tribute to a passed musician. Other than that it is dumb even for a four year old.

I like this comic. I think it’s great Mr. Gilchrist keeps it old-fashioned and in good taste. I think you Fritzi fanatics need to stick to Playboy magazine.

Sounds like someone needs a life. Or maybe just a nap.

“old-fashioned and in good taste” I was looking for the right words to describe “Nancy” and those were it! We need more of “old-fashioned and in good taste” in these modern times.

1965 called. They want their sexual standards back.

from what I remember….and I was 8 in 1965…..that was a beautiful, and “old fashioned” sexy year. Elvis, and Beatles movies and those beach, drag racing and other teen movies. Bandstand. Those were where I saw pretty girls in those times.

I do the kind of strip I believe I can do the best job on. It is an honest reflection of me. Thanks to those who applaud it. Thanks to those who tolerate it. And to those who don’t like it….you’re probably not reading this.
