Nancy was created by Ernie Bushmiller in the 1930s. Since 1995, the strip has been drawn and written in Bushmiller's classic style by Guy and Brad Gilchrist. Nancy is famed for its gentle humor and surrealistic sight gags. Nancy's childlike innocence never wavers. She remains a devoted friend to her pal Sluggo, and can be, depending on the situation, a conceited prima donna or a fun-loving, cute and cheeky little girl.

A friend of mine used to have a bumper sticker. What it said, I can’t quote in full because it has a word that can’t be used in this family forum.
Anyway, it referred to a woman’s breasts using a word that rhymes with “Ritz”, and said, “(word) on a Ritz…mmm…good cracker!”

fave summer meal…grilled bratwurst, cole slow, baked beans and potato salad…and Barq’s root beer…cantalope or watermelon for dessert….man, I think I just made myself hungry….
