    When you can’t run on accomplishments the alternative is the big lie, or in this case, multiple big lies.

    This page of the Republican handbook is very worn. Simply keep attacking your opponent with everything you can dig up, whether its true or not. Keep him/her on the defensive, always off-balance. It only demonstrates their greed for power, and their desperation. If the republicans are so afraid of how we vote, then now is the time to use our advantage. If you don’t approve of their attempts to pervert the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, making a mockery of our democratic system, supporting the interests of Wall Street over Main Street, and using our troops abroad to protect the interests & profits of our huge energy oligarchs, then register to vote. Check your application carefully, because republican “observers” at the polls certainly will do so. Then, get out of bed early on election day. Vote AGAINST every republican on the ballot, state and federal. Then, we may have a chance.

    VERY MUCH out of context!!!
    Those wh use untruths to best their opponent have no virtues of their own —, else they would be proclaiming them.

    The GOP’s also big on projection, hence the ironic ‘brain damage’ smear.

    If you thought Republican obstructionism has contributed to the gridlock that has brought all of us no health care, no jobs, and no economic growth during the Obama administration, prepare for more of the same (refined through years of practice) during 8 years of the Hillary Clinton administration.

    Even if she has the answer to all of our problems, she will be stonewalled at every turn. She ain’t black, but she’s a woman, and she’s married to a man that they tried to ruin and failed.

    I am not convinced she would be a good president. Regardless, though, the country cannot stand another 8 years of getting nothing done, and that is virtually guaranteed with a Hillary Clinton presidency. For the sake of the future of our nation, I hope the Democrats can find an alternative candidate, who may have a slight chance of not being defeated before he/she starts to fight.

    She also forgot about all those FBI files on her coffee table for months. Must have been pre-brain damage.

    @I Play One On TV

    If an Independent runs, with the ability to make a serious challenge as Ross Perot did, I will vote for him/her. However, if it comes down to the usual choice of two, I will, despite some misgivings, vote for Hillary Clinton. A republican victory will only promote and cement the interests of Wall Street, at the expense of the rest of us.

    @MangeyMoose
    I’m with you on voting for a viable third party, but otherwise please reconsider Hillary. I’ve personally heard her and Chelsea speak during her primary run. As a Centrist, I’m normally fiscally liberal, but what they proposed scared me. Her policies would be as close to socialism as we could get without completely losing democracy.
    I know voting for a Republican is pretty much voting for our corporate masters, but faced with the policies she proposed to do and the lackluster performance as Secretary of State I’m going to have a lot of soul searching to do as well.
    If the Republicans can’t source a candidate again the Tea Party will eventually break off into its own. The Democrats fly Hillary up the flagpole. Maybe it will finally goose someone decent into creating that third party this country desperately needs..

    News from August 2015 just in: “As the Republican party realized that the last two years of campaigning against Hillary had been completely in vain, as she had decided not to run, they are now instead working on presenting a plan that will bring the US out of debt within a 20 year period.”

    The right needs to remove the lunatic fringe from their surrey, and move the front of that vehicle a safer distance back from the horse’s rear-end to carry a different load.

    I think 73% of Americans want the GOP and the media to SHUT UP about Benghazi, and focus on the real issues which plague most of us. Real support for our troops/veterans. Entice American businesses back to American soil. Bring some control back over Wall Street schemes. Do SOMETHING to help restore hope and trust among the long-term unemployed and under-employed. DO SOMETHING POSITIVE FOR A CHANGE!

    Oh my God. I too, thought yours was merely a sarcastic joke. I clicked on and read the article! THESE PEOPLE ARE INSANE!!!
    And people actually believe these lame, far-fetching accusations?

    I don’t want to read anymore tonight.
