Still lots of money for multi-million dollar golf vacations tho.

He’s like a little kid who breaks the toys after being grounded so no other kids can play with them.

It costs $18,000 a week for the tour guards.

How RepubliCon: grouse about the expense of government services and grouse when the services are eliminated. But the point’s not good government is it? The point is their government.

I have defended the President’s golf outings even at the estimated cost of a million(s?) dollars game. I thought he should be able to take an occasional break from the White House and do something normal. If the tour guards were not laid off, (doubtful they were-they’ll just find some other duties for them, useful or not) then I don’t see where any money is saved. This appears to me to be nothing more than a cheap political ploy so that the White House can say “Look at us! The sequester has had an effect here, too!”. Not that you would really give a bleep, Mr. President, but you have lost one supporter of your expending public funds for your leisure activities.

The irony is, if he DIDN’T cancel the White House tours, Hannity, Beck, and Limbaugh would be all over him talking about how wasteful it is for the ’Murican taxpayer to have to pay for a bunch of snot-nosed little liberal brats to see where their head free-stuff giver lives while the rest of the ’Muricans had to suffer with the sequester cuts.

    Now, I do…
The key word here is “useful”.
I agree with the cons that spending must be controlled, and this begins are “home”, Mr President.
YES, cut back on security !
DO we really need as much as we have ?

Where is your ire at The Demcrats when they controlled The House and Senate from January 2007 to December 31, 2010? Are you aware that during this 4 year time span The Democrats did not pass one single Budget?

That’s correct, The Democrats did not pass a budget in 2007, 2008, 2009, nor 2010. They just ‘kicked the can’ down the road, and increased the debt ceiling in 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010.

In late 2010,NBC News reported The Democrats refused to pass a budget and would defer to The incoming Republican Controlled House.

Had the Democrats passed Budgets in 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010, we would not be in the mess we’re in today.

Yes, I did and no where did they express their displeasure with the inaction of Democrats from January 2007 to December 31, 2010, No they only blame The Current Republican Controlled House as you do.
