Still lots of money for multi-million dollar golf vacations tho.

He’s like a little kid who breaks the toys after being grounded so no other kids can play with them.

The irony is, if he DIDN’T cancel the White House tours, Hannity, Beck, and Limbaugh would be all over him talking about how wasteful it is for the ’Murican taxpayer to have to pay for a bunch of snot-nosed little liberal brats to see where their head free-stuff giver lives while the rest of the ’Muricans had to suffer with the sequester cuts.

I remember back when you could tour the White House when the President was there. I went with my folks when Eisenhower was in. The only security was two marines stand beside a blue curtain. I of course was the wandering child. I went right behind them and up the stairs. I was now on the second floor, yes the residences. I was just walking down the hall when this gentleman came out and looked down at me. He said “Well hello son and where are you going?” I said “Seeing the White House.” He said “Well welcome, son” He gestured at some captain who nearly went into a panic. He said “Escort this young man to his parents, they are probably looking for him” The captain barked “Yes, Mr. President” He escorted me downstairs right past two very surprised security marines. Of course there were my parents explaining to the guide, how tall, how old when I came up with the captain. “Are you looking for him?” he said. They asked where was he? He said talking with the President. We went back later and the curtain was now a door.I like how they cant fix finances but have time to golf at private clubs on our tax dollars. But remember it could be worse.

They represent us the citizens. The government sometimes looks at us like children. Step children at that.

The White House is still open for tours. You just have to know how to play Chicago-style poltics – slip half a million bucks to Organizing for CrimeMerica, and you’re in!
