This country needs to go over that cliff. Let it happen. WE will all have less in our pocket. The economy will falter a tad and then pick back up. The government will make less money and cuts will be forced on us all. We will have to go back to taking care of our own elderly any way we can and college will be funded by those that want their business to grow. The rest of us will have to take the jobs that we think are beneath us to survive.

    Pride goes before a fall.

    1. I’m all for it.

    2. I agree that the economy will come back.

    3. With the end of the tax-cuts I don’t see how the government would make LESS money.

    4. These cuts, especially on the Pentagon side, are a good thing. I hope…

    5. It would be nice if college would again get sponsorship from the industry. The amount of debt a student has to take on to be “hire-ready” is outrageous, especially given the low entry-payment, job-insecurity and general slow raise in wages. But that’s capitalism for you: “Gimme, gimme, gimme, for I am the mighty job creator and you are just one rung above slaves!”

    6. Doing work that’s beneath you has been going on for quite a while, no big change there. You are still recovering from 07/08 and due to political shenanigans the recovery is artificially slow. I’m not naming names, but certain people have in interest in doom and gloom, even now after the election…

Businesses/industry would pefer to hire well-educated immigrants rather than fund American universities. After all, their mantra is “shareholder value”, not “patriotism”.

The “Fair Use” Clause says that he doesn’t have to.
    []
It’s something of a controversial area of the US Copyright Law, but the “Fair Use” Clause stipulates that there are exceptions in which a person can utilize copyrighted material for their own personal use.
    []
In this case, Ramirez is using the logo as part of a satire mocking the current economic situation, and so he gets a free pass.

Andy’s art made a lot more sense than Boehner’s budget proposals, or Cantor’s, or any Repubtards preservation of “defense” no matter the cost. Note" $200 million cut from State Dept. security, but $200 million preserved to fund military bands. Maybe a Sousaphone at Benghazi could have deflected the attack?

    - The deficit went down under President Obama.
    -
    - Another Debtoon from Mr. Ramirez. This seems to be his “I have to meet deadline” standard.
    -
    - The deficit went down under President Obama.
    -
    - Seriously, he gets paid +$100,000 a year to do this.
    -
    - The deficit went down under President Obama.
    -
    - Anyway, anyone serious about reducing debt knows the solution is letting the Bush tax cuts expire, then seeing about rolling back the Reagan tax cuts.

    - The deficit went down under President Obama.

On the Internet you find what you look for. The US does not have anywhere near the highest tax rates or the best medical care. Try a little objectivity when you look for facts.

Yeah, it did. Why he promised to “cut the deficit if half” and he was sooooo sucessful he dropped the number from 1.6 trillion to 1.3 trillion. OH YEAH!!!!!! Good job! you didn’t spend 300 billion dollars extra. You just spent 1.3 trillion dollars more than you had to spend. Man with good budgeting like that why we can retire that 16 trillion dollars of debt in………uh………..oh right….. NEVER.

Go ahead a brag dumb a$$.

    - Actually, as the deficit becomes surplus, the debt will slowly whither away.
“Go ahead a brag dumb a$$.”
