Is this the real (or the more likely) face of Jesus Christ?

"While Christian artists have liked to depict Jesus Christ in images that are far removed from his Middle Eastern Jewish origins – fair-skinned, long-haired, even blue-eyed – today’s image shows him as dark, swarthy and sporting a closely shaven beard.
“It’s not the face of Jesus, but how he is likely to have looked given the scientific information we’ve got,” said Lorraine Heggessey, controller of BBC1. “That’s what people from that area of the world looked like at that time.”

Nikola Tesla was definitely Slavic, and Nicolaus Copernicus was clearly Prussian. We still enjoy the gifts they brought, as well as suffering the harm they wrought when the naughty got hold of their gifts. Happy Solstice to all, and to all their darkest hour!

When I was growing up, they expressed it as, “der Meisterraße über Alles.” It was quite a battle (Kampf) convincing them otherwise.

Since man created god in his own image, why is it surprising that everyone’s god looks a lot like them?

Blue eyes, straight nose, hair like wool.
From the official Roman description made during his trial.
Quite obviously a mixed race person, and with the garrison (not mentioned in the bible) of northern roman soldiers based near his hometown I find the question of his race quite obvious.

Adrien I really think this is silly(thus my silly comment) and a non-issue.
In fact I don’t think I’ve ever thought about “What color was Santa”?
This only became an issue when a black writer made the argument that depicting Santa as a white man was racist and hurtful to blacks.
Somebody on Fox said Santa WAS white so what’s the problem with depicting him as white?
Of course the left-wing media started doing their usual “Fox News is racist!” routine.
Believe me, this is nothing, just like “what color is the Kwaanza Bear”?

Santa Clause is white, black, brown, or yellow, depending on the kid believing. St. Nicholas was definitely “brownish” and would be a Turk today. Ah, but while I see no god with any form at all, wouldn’t all the bible thumpers freak if he actually showed up from three universes out from ours, was green, had three eyes on stalks, and closer related to mollusks than mammals???
